JOB SUMMARY
Under direction, this confidential position provides clerical support to the Assistant to the Head Start Director, Head Start/Early Head Start Administrative and Coordination staff, as directed; and provides front reception desk coverage, as scheduled. Responsibilities include, but not limited to performs clerical and data entry duties to support efficient day-to-day operations such as: schedule meetings and appointments; order office and program supplies; prepare and coordinate purchase orders and, invoices; conduct supply tracking/inventory and prepare supply orders for supervisor’s review and approval; prepare travel paperwork; maintain computerized and non-computerized files; prepare correspondences, reports and draft letters for review and approval; provide other program supports as required; attend staff meetings, training and workshops; perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Completion of secondary education with coursework in office practices and procedures and, minimum, one year working in confidential environment and/or Administrative office environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel mandatory); or equivalent combinations of experience and/or education. Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, post physical examination, and criminal background checks conducted
PAY RATE
$16.31 per hour Annualized (Pay Level 6 Hire Rate)
