Position: DIRECTOR OF ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
Department: SOCIAL & SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Reports to: Vice President, Community Services Programs
Job Summary: Under administrative direction, plans, directs, implements and administers the Energy Assistance Programs including but not limited to Home Energy Assistance Program, Percentage Income Plus Program, to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations; supervises and directs assigned staff and/or operations. Performs other related duties as required for example, program planning and implementation, ongoing monitoring and compliance, budget development, expenditures tracking, proposals/grant preparation and technical assistance, staff supervision and guidance reports, reporting and program evaluation, meeting attendance and participation. Qualified candidates will have a knowledge of agency goals and objectives; agency policies and procedures, supervisory and management principles; federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to agency operations and pertaining to energy assistance programs; federal, state, and local funding criteria; public and human relations; budgeting principles; Must have ability to deal with many variables and determine specific actions; software for energy programs; communicate effectively and professionally in written and oral form; develop grant proposals, meaningful reports, documentation and position papers; resolve complaints from clients, employees, and officials; prepare and present to specialized audiences and community groups; establish friendly atmosphere as manager of work unit; work with diverse population; develop good rapport with clients; Must be skilled in calculator operation; Microsoft software applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc); SalesForce and Ocean
Requirements: Completion of college education with a Master's degree in Social Service, Business Administration, or related discipline and two (2) years of experience in community service organization or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience. Background checks conducted.
Pay Rate: $34.79 per/hour Level 42; $72,363.20 Annualized
