JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision and in accordance with funding source regulations and agency/program guidelines, provide quality customer service; conduct assessment, intake and eligibility determination for neighborhood development programs, services, and initiatives to support client goals/needs towards self-sufficiency; and participate, in or assist/conduct neighborhood development activities such as assist with community group meetings and other related outreach events. Responsibilities include: Complete intake/assessment for programs/initiatives such as: Broadband High-Speed Internet Training, Construction Training, CHORE Services, Summer/Winter Camp, and Emergency Service programs; conduct outreach to promote programs/services; participate in community events; partner with other internal departments to increase referrals for programs/initiatives participation; receive, log, review and process referrals for eligibility to participation/engagement in programs/initiatives, based on established criteria; provide clients with referrals to community resources and/or related agency services; provide coordination of services for clients to reduce barriers to participation in initiatives and/or training programs; assist participants with applying for benefits, transportation, emergency services such as HEAP/PIPP etc.; collect and enter data information into online data portal and/or established database system for tracking, reporting and recordkeeping; assist with preparation of required program reports; perform various clerical support functions and other related duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Completion of an Associate Degree or equivalent combinations of experience and/or education and a minimum of one (1) year work experience in human services organization. Proficient computer/word processing aptitude (i.e. ability to work in MS Applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook) with data entry/retrieval operations. Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (limited travel may be required); pre-employment drug screen, criminal background checks and post-employment physical conducted
PAY RATE
$17.44 per hour (Pay Level 7)
CLASSIFICATION/SCHEDULE
Regular, Full-Time / Non-Exempt / Monday–Friday / 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Some weekends and evenings)
