Job Summary
Under direction, provides quality customer service; conducts customer assessments, interviews and eligibility determination for utility assistance; calculates income and processes necessary Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) intake forms; verifies utility accounts with appropriate energy suppliers; issues notices of determination to customers; prepares and submits necessary documentation; utilizes key board to enter information in computer programs; educates general public of services available; provides assistance to assigned supervisor; types and/or prepares various correspondence, collects data and prepares reports; files records and correspondence; receives and responds to phone calls; other related duties as required.

Requirements
Completion of secondary education and six (6) months demonstrated office experience or equivalent combinations of training and experience; computer literacy; Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (minimal travel may be required). Pre-employment drug screen, criminal background checks and post-employment physical conducted.
Pay Rate
$16.31/hour (Pay Level 6)
